"Run, don"

We actually had our tent on this trip and considered paying for the room, but pitching it in the parking lot of the San Luis Inn. The vinyl covered mattresses kept my body from the previous guests secretions, while the blade-less ceiling fan shed light on the room. The toilet was two inches from the wall, so angling myself on the throne to do my business was a feat in and of itself. Stains were everywhere, from the upholstered seat on the desk they recently picked up from the the neighbor's curb, to the bed spread lining to the pillows that appear to have absorbed years of drool.

Not Worth It

This was the first hotel we came upon with a VACANCY sign flashing. Going on a spur of the moment trip on one of the busiest weekends of the year was not a good idea on our part. So when we came upon this hotel in the lovely town of San Luis Obsipo we were excited that we would have a place to rest our head. Dropping $* for this room was definitely NOT WORTH IT! When we walked in, there was 2 missing light bulbs gone from the ceiling fan, the bed was lumpy, the bed sheets had stray hairs on them, and when we took a shower the bathtub quickly filled up because the drain was clogged. Also, parking spaces were sparse; we had to squeeze into a teeny tiny space. There was trash all over the parking lot. The next day our goal was just to leave, we did not check out the continental breakfast. We have truly learned our lesson and next time we plan to take a weekend trip we will book ahead.

I use this hotel for convenience to Cal Poly at a reasonable price, otherwise its in a horid state of disrepair. Plugged drains, Painfully hard beds. Hot water was good, as was the cable tv, but the toilet paper holder fell off the wall. I could make many of the repairs in very short order.

BEWARE

This hotel was absolutely disgusting. Our room came with hair, moths, filthy carpet, the worst bedding, a shower that managed to get water all over the entire bathroom, and a lack of over all care by the management. Too bad that we had such an unfortunately experience.
