WORST HOTEL EVER VISITED

  • July 18, 2008
  • Rated 1 of 5 by a traveler from Travelocity.com
It all starts by walking across the street from the hotel parking to the hotel, then to the next hotel, and then another one, and by the way..don't be fooled by the pictures online...they are from when the hotel was new 50 years ago...trust me....it looks nothing like it in real life. So we open the door to our hotel room to be transported back to the 60's only this room has not been remodeled since. The bath tub is dirty and when you take showers the water goes from extremely cold to extremely hot..on it's own!!! There are rip holes in the curtains, but they fixed them with tape. If you decide to stay at this hotel, dont bring any valuables, unless you plan to take them with you every time you leave, because the safe in the room unlocks itself after a few hours of being locked...no security there. There is 4 individual beds and the matresses look like they were pick up from under a freeway bridge, they are old, stained and stinky, not to mentioned full of BEDBUGS!!!!!!! I stayed only a couple of nights, I should have stayed in the car....at least there my kids wouldnt have gotten bitten by the BEDBUGS. After alerting the management know about my kids getting bit by BEDBUGS they immediately sent two security guys to take pictures and move us to onother room full of BEDBUGS too. I was forced to cut my stay short and look for another hotel, but the manager of the hotel was kind enough to apologize 20 times and tell me "he would credit me for the nights I didn't stay" what a nice guy!!!

Roaches, leaking ceiling, very filthy!!! Should be closed down!!!

This is a hotel from hell. Didn't even thought such hotel exists. I have pictures to prove it. Very filthy, leaking ceiling from the 2nd floor (when guest upstairs takes a shower- we were on the first floor) , dirt everywhere!!! Booked for one week but only stayed for few hours. Rusty fawcets, even the ceiling is dirty, with dirt build up. Microwave dirty, cabinets, - everything is filthy. Don't forget the crawling little roaches.Don't ever go to this hotel.

That's right. I got nibbled on by bedbugs on the last night of my stay at Pagoda. Eew! Also, the drive up to the 4th floor of the parking garage across the street wasn't a treat after the first couple of times. No closer parking, no valet.

OK for the Money

This hotel was recommended to me by the state government, so I didn't expect the classiest of places. However, this was a very good deal for Oahu and had a great location near the shopping centre and Korea town. They also provided us with in room refrigerators and the option for extra beds. The rooms could stand to be a bit cleaner, particularly the showers. It was also a bit noisy during the night. Overall, a good deal for the money.

OVERPRICED

The roons in the Pagoda Terrace are over priced for what you get. May be okay for a family with kids or someone whio does not mind the noise. The obsolete windows do not shut and you hear street noise and others talking outside.
