Gem in the middle of a Big City

I ran into some travel difficulties and had a very late arrival. The staff was excellent. The rooms were beautiful, roomy and comfy. The restaurant was reasonable and superb! All in all they made a difficult journey, my safe haven.

Stayed here as part of a conference...next time I'll go down the street. The best thing this hotel has are the wonderful beds. I was fast asleep every night. The staff is the worst and needs a years worth of customer service training. The dineing room and bar are also way over priced. Otherwise I like the hotel but wouldn't recommend it and wont be back. The worst thing they did was lose a coleagues sute the day of our big meeting...though he did get it back...the next day.

We stayed at this hotel for three nights during our first trip to DC. It was about five blocks to Dupont Circle and five blocks to to the Capitol--a perfect location. The hotel was super-clean! Impeccable housekeeping. Every amenity was perfect, and the beds are outstanding--Tempurpedics. If you haven't tried one, it is absolutely, undeniably heaven on earth! If we're ever back in DC, I'd definitely stay there again.
