Not worth the price

Hotel was conveniently located on the south side of the River, which was a great place for viewing the July 4 fireworks. I thought the price was good for the location, but... mishap after mishap at the hotel led me to believe otherwise.
My parents went to the their room for the first time to find it had already been checked out to another traveler. The hotel realized the error, asked the other traveler to leave and asked my parents to take the room. The hotel didn't check the room before releasing it to my parents.
We ordered dinner at the restaurant/bar. They forgot to prepare one meal, and after 10 minutes of waiting for the forgotten meal to arrive, my husband went to the bar to ask the bartender about the meal. The bartender was on the phone, and his food was sitting at the bar. Not their finest hour. They took 10% off the bill. Not even enough to cover the cost of the dinner, which my husband did not eat.
All in all, we should have stayed elsewhere...
