It was an excellent experience. The staff was helpful and friendly, never pushy but there if you had questions. The room was very well appointed with all the necessities one could need. The bed was quite comfortable, the decor appropriate, and the furnishings inviting. There was a snack bar on the first floor which worked well if a restaurant meal was not needed. It was a bit pricey, but a good alternative to some restaurants for an informal meal. The elevators worked well, and were easily accessed, with the exception of one morning when a number of high school students arrived which resulted in a longer than usual wait. I would definitely re-visit this hotel. The location is great, too, because it's sort of in the middle of the Magnifient Mile and the Loop.

The Hyatt-Regengy on Wacker Drive is great. The service is top class, and this hotel is close to every thing in the downtwon Chicago area. The bar and the restaurants in the hotel are also high class, specially Stentson's steak house.

This was a quick trip for us to Chicago. The staff was very friendly from the moment we walked in the door. Quick, easy check-in, very helpful staff. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

11:00 am 5th floor East Tower; double room, no view. Upon arrival found "snack food crumbs" on the bed. Complaint to hotel management produced another room:
12:00 noon 13th floor West Tower. Nice view, except--Staff forgot to "key" the cards. Hotel detective had to unlock the door. Small children, hot, tired, from a day at the Aquarium. Upon entering room, the air conditioner was not working. Complaint to hotel management produced yet another room:
6:00 pm 27th floor West Tower. New room. No bathroom exhaust fan, view of people cleaning an office bldg. across from room. Drain in bathroom did not work; bathing in ones own dirty bath water. Child slipped in tub without safety strips on tub bottom. Need I say more?

The hotel is located in the Magnificent Mile area and is close to all of the shopping, restaurants, and Navy Pier. The overall experience was overall very good. I would stay at the hotel again and have signed to become a gold card member. This was a quick last minute trip for two adults who was traveling just for relaxation and fun.
