Good room in a fair hotel

Overall a nice weekend away from home. The rooms are clean and tidy, the casino and resturants were decent. Nice atmosphere, the pool area seems to be just an afterthought to the hotel. The whole area appears to be underconstruction, but the hotel is easy to get in and out of and travel between casinos is easy.

Great Hotel

My stay at this hotel was very pleasant. There was a minor problem with room assigned to me at the beginning but was corrected immediately. The room was spacious and very nice. Will definitely stay here again!!!

Great price, friendly staff.

My husband and I loved this hotel. He was stationed at Keesler AFB and we were only 3-5 miles from it. The only thing was that I requested a room with one queen bed, we got 2 queen beds. The outlet in the bathroom didn't work and we were in a hearing impaired room. Other then those things everything else was great.

Overall the trip was nice but I was disappointed in a few things about the hotel. First and foremost, there is no room service in the hotel. I was totally upset about this because I really wanted to relax in the room one of the days and couldnt because I had to leave to eat. Secondly, there is no late checkout. 12pm is the latest. Thirdly, the parking is ridiculous. There arent signs that tell hotel guests and casino visitors where to park. My family and I had to be escourted to the hotel elevators because we parked by the casino entrance and we couldnt walk through because our one year old daughter was with us. Fourth, all the different eateries at tradewinds are not open 24 hours. One section is and it has a limited menu (and it doesnt include breakfast). The pool closes at 8pm. Are you serious? that was ridiculous! Calypsso buffet serves the same lunch and dinner foods (besides crab legs) everyday. They need to switch it up or something. There is no dvd player in the room. Farradays is closed on mondays and tuesdays, so we couldnt dress up and have a nice adult dinner like we planned ( even though on this website it says they're open sun-thur from 5pm-12pm. What a joke! We had a suite but there was no mini fridge or microwave in the room. There was a $10 charge per day for a microwave. Plus the vending machines on the floors either took our money or gave us the wrong sodas! I think this hotel cater's more to older folks because I think my family and I were the youngest folks staying there!

Stayed at the Isle for a long weekend (mother/daughter trip). Very impressed with everything. Room was very spacious and clean, bathroom in room was big and clean, bed was very comfortable. Buffet was great and very reasonably priced - especially breakfast. Enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely stay here again.
