Good location, big rooms, clean rooms, good staff,

My wife and I have stayed at St. Vincent's three times over the last few years, and we saw big improvements from last year. Our room had recently been redone, and the hotel felt warm and inviting, as it felt in 2002 when we first found it. The pool was wonderful to relax in at night, and the staff was very helpful and friendly. It's not a snobby upscale hotel, but it is the best deal in the most charming neighborhood in New Orleans.

I was very happy with this hotel. It was clean with a very pleasant staff. If you want room service and cable it is not the place for you. All I wanted was a comfortable bed and a bathroom in a good location. I got everything I wanted.

Pros:stayed for Madri Gras and the rooms where cheap! . Staff was friendly and helpful. Easy access to The Garden District and The French Quarter. Cons: No maid service,Rooms are not the cleanest but not bad. AC dont work. overall a positive experience. I will go back next year for Mardi Gras and stay here again.

I stayed here for one night. Our room was SO hot I was sweating all night. There was a air conditioning window unit but it didn't seem to work very well and there was a ceiling fan but it would only operate very slowly and sounded like it was going to come off of the ceiling. At 3am the fire alarm went off for no reason (apparently) and scared the daylights out of my friend and I. The elevator was broken so we had to run down the stairs. Other than that it wasn't too horrible. There is a parking lot and the outside of the building is very cute. Not too far from the French Quarter.
