I was very happy with this hotel. It was clean with a very pleasant staff. If you want room service and cable it is not the place for you. All I wanted was a comfortable bed and a bathroom in a good location. I got everything I wanted.

Pros:stayed for Madri Gras and the rooms where cheap! . Staff was friendly and helpful. Easy access to The Garden District and The French Quarter. Cons: No maid service,Rooms are not the cleanest but not bad. AC dont work. overall a positive experience. I will go back next year for Mardi Gras and stay here again.
Hot & fire alarm went off at 3am

I stayed here for one night. Our room was SO hot I was sweating all night. There was a air conditioning window unit but it didn't seem to work very well and there was a ceiling fan but it would only operate very slowly and sounded like it was going to come off of the ceiling. At 3am the fire alarm went off for no reason (apparently) and scared the daylights out of my friend and I. The elevator was broken so we had to run down the stairs. Other than that it wasn't too horrible. There is a parking lot and the outside of the building is very cute. Not too far from the French Quarter.

Do not stay at this hotel. There was no room for me when i arrived. The Owner is rude and hostile. The room wall were nasty, smudge and dirty. WHen I complain about room the Ownder tried to kick me out of the Hotel. Worse hotel ever.

"I have very low expectations for cheap hotels and this hotel certainly met my low expectations. It has so much potential and it is a shame that the owners have so badly neglected the property. It was filthy and things didn't work. I've stayed in some dumps, but this one is one of the worst I've seen. Still, we spent very little time in the room and no one died so I guess it was a successful stay."
