The people and management are the worst. Beware they over charge for things you do not do or use.

Best Vegas Hotel EVER!!

The Negative. No real parking and it costs about 11 bucks a night for valet. The outside looks shabby. Its hard to find if you've never been there before. No Hot Tube The Positive: This place is awesome! Its quiet, the staff were very friendly and as the name implies (the artisan) its a very artsy atmosphere with lots of paintings on the walls (and ceilings). It looks like a Gothic designer grabbed a hold of Victorian style and created this interesting atmosphere. Its very dark (but not creepy) and has a wonderful beauty about it. The beds have to be the most comfortable bed Ive ever slept on. The rooms are absolutly well made up. The place was very clean. OVER ALL: If you want the neon and flashy of Vegas, this place is not for you. If you want a nice place to relax and "get away" this is a MUST visit hotel! Ive stayed here 6 times and am booking it again tonight for my next business trip.

IF YOU WANNA BE..................

First of all watch out because this motel is the only motel I know of in las vegas that does not have free parking for its guests, not only is it valet they will charge you upon arivall $11 dollars per night for the privalge of staying in there delapetated motel, which has no ice and you have to leave your hotel key in the thermostat for it to work! After that I would reccomend you check your credit card acct. Up to four days after your departure to make sure this motel didn't charge you $250 for smoke damage, even if you dont smoke!!

This hotel is very deceiving on its website. The rooms are sooooo dark and creepy that it feels like night at all times. Even weirder, there is bellboy who comes up with you to the room to show you how to use the energy efficient light. He was creepy and it is just another way for them to make money. THe lobby is soooooo creepy and gothic. This whole place is gothic. There is no free parking!! ridiculous! also on top of this, the beds are sunken in.. WHO HAS ever heard of a hotel bed being sunk in? maybe at a cheap motel but not somewhere that is 105 bucks . i hope this place goes out of business. don't contribute to their money making scam.

I will definitely stay here again!

The hotel is right near the freeway but you won't hear any traffic. When I first drove up and pulled into the driveway, I was a little scared...it looked almost deserted and it certainly didn't look like any other flashy hotel in Vegas. I am so glad I ventured inside!! The bellhop was friendly. The lobby is lit by candlelight and it will take your eyes a few moments to adjust. You will see a large fountain in the lobby and artwork everywhere; on the walls and on the ceiling! It is a gorgeous lobby. The moment you step into the hotel you will forget about the exterior, if only to wonder why they don't snazz-up the grounds. One thing that amazed me was how clean the hotel was! I am a stickler for cleanliness and this hotel passed with flying colors. It was particularly important how clean the hotel was because it was so dark, with dark-colored walls and mood-lighting. I felt like I had stepped into a movie. I am usually one who would rather stay at an upscale 4 Diamond hotel, with all the amenities, but I look forward to spending a long weekend at this hotel, just to enjoy the artist-themed rooms and peace and quiet. The staff were lovely...friendly and helpful in every way. They have a wine-tasting every night (or every weekend night?) in the lobby and it was great mingling with other patrons. The pool is small, but it was perfect for me...I was the only one there! The large beds by the pool are wonderful, just make sure you bring a big towel to lie down on the vinyl! It gets hot! The rooms have flat-panel screens mounted on the walls - NICE! Lots of character here! Unique!
