Hotel was tidy, room small but bath was clean & big. Front desk has limited day hours but helped book tours that picked up at hotel. Fengshui Chinese food on Lombard excellent value but about 8 blocks toward GG Bridge. No stores close by. Motel is in Marina District, yuppytown and still big city. My spouse and I felt pretty safe. Far to Wharf, restaurants, bus/trolley. Take cabs or be prepared to walk allot! Many hills. Good location if in shape! Closest stores or decent food at least 5-8 blocks. Had a wonderful time ? was not in room much.

We were very pleased with this hotel. It was clean and well-kept. The room was a little small but the bathroom was HUGE, all tile with 2 sinks. Located only a few blocks from Fisherman's Wharf and down the street from "crooked street" section of Lombard. Free parking was a bonus. Fridge in the room came in handy. Would definitely stay here again.

Great service by the people running the motel. They were very kind and helpful. The only downside to this hotel is that my room directly faced Lombard, and the street noisy was quite loud.

Absolutely disgusting. White and mysterious red stains all over carpet, holes in bedsheets, crumbs in drawers, smelled like old sweat, rude staff. We checked into another hotel that same night. I am working on getting a refund. very nasty overall.

Shabby hotel run by very rude, inconsiderate staff. Our toilet stopped up and overflowed one night and they told us that they couldn?t fix it or clean up the sewage until morning because the maintenance staff had left for the day. We couldn't walk in the bathroom without our shoes on because the floor was flooded, so we couldn't take showers, use the sink or the toilet. For all our trouble, they only offered us a $10 refund! Since this is a discount hotel they don't feel the need to live up to even a basic standard of competence.
