NOT IMPRESSED!!!!!

Had to wait 3+ hours to check in due to inexperience desk personnel. Room service was less than adequate. Housekeeping left trash in our room that wasn't from us. We had restaurant charges to our room that wasn't ours. This wasn't the same place (The Wydham) that we were married at just a few short years ago.

Absolutely Beautiful and Relaxing Honeymoon

My wife and I just got back (June 21,2009) from a week stay at the Casa Marina. It is the best hotel in Key West, hands down. Very courteous, professional staff, great amenities, and the best beach. We spent a lot of our trip snorkeling, laying on the beach, and just hanging out on the resort property. Duval street is about 3 blocks away but the Casa Marina is at the far end of it. We walked from the hotel to Duval many times but it takes a good 20 minutes to get to the far end where the sunset pier is. Drinks and food is a bit pricey at the hotel but very good stuff. We went to the store and bought beer and snacks which helped. You have to pay for internet in your room which I did not like. Other than that, it is a great place. We will definitely be back. The best lobster is at the A&B lobster house. Go to Sloppy Joes and Hogs breath. Key West is a great place. Hope this helps......

Return visit to Casa Marina

The Casa Marina will always be my favorite place in the world. The beauty is unmatched. We visit pretty regularly and have always had a pleasant experience. This time was still wonderful, but I was disappointed to find they've removed the coffee makers from the rooms and taken out hand/body lotion and bath gel. It's a simple thing and maybe most people wouldn't notice. We are a coffee drinking family and like to have it all during the day and rely on the maker in the room for convenience. I never take lotion, shampoo, bath gel because it's always been provided, so I had to go out and purchase lotion. No big deal, won't keep me from returning, but when you have to pay a $20 a day resort fee, you'd expect better...........................

The views from this hotel were breath taking, the service was impeccable...two outdoor pools, the largest beach front in the lower keys, hammocks, warm breeze, nice outside bar...spa, bike, mopeds, parasailing, jet-ski's everything available on property, very romantic...had a great time rooms were clean and modern...bed was comfy...definitely recommend this hotel to lovers and families...catch breakfast while watching the waves at the sun-sun lounge...storybook views...

Would highly recommend this resort; beautiful and clean; Staff very friendly and helpful; stayed there April 21-23; away from Duvall Street excitement but close enough to walk to.
