the room we stayed in was 90 degrees with no climate control and the staff refused to rectify the situation, saying that the hotel policy was to not turn on the A/C until april (Our stay was in March) . There was no window to open and they only agreed to give us a different room after I called Travelocity to complain.
We stay here everytime we're in Minneapolis/St Paul

My wife and I used to live in Minneapolis, but have been living in WI for the past 4 years. We get back to Minneapolis at least once a year to see friends and we stay at this hotel every time. We love the location of the hotel as it is close to friends, shopping, great restaurants, and downtown Minneapolis is only 7 minutes away. The hotel is very clean and the rooms are immaculate. The staff is always friendly and available. We've never had an issue while staying at this hotel, and we can't wait to our next visit.
Oh yeah...the warm cookies upon check-in are awesome too!

When we walked into the lobby, we were greeted by very friendly and courteous people. All are questions were answered, very quickly when we had them. Enjoyed everything about our stay, the room was perfect size, the bed was very comfortable. All room services were the best!!! Will stay there again.

The hotel itself was beautiful, the staff weren't as friendly as I expected from reading other reviews. I called them to ask about the pet deposit- they took my name and number and never called me back so I was surprised at the $15 non refundable fee. The pool is rather small as well as the business center. The beds were very comfortable and the warm coookie they give you at check in was delicious!! I called and asked for two towels- they brought four in about two minutes!! The food was very expensive as well as the delivery charge and the 18% tax on all purchaces. They don't advertise the hidden prices such as being charged a little for the morning papers *they say if you wish not to recieve them you can get some change back on your bill* and no where in the room did it say they charged $9.99 for internet access in the rooms. Overall I would stay here again, mostly for the fact that it's one of the few very nice hotels I've been to that allows pets!!!!
Thanks

Great Hotel! Just in for one night on a business trip and was very pleased. Of course the cookie at check-in is great and the person behind the counter was even better. Friendly, prompt, accurate service which I greatly appreciate. I travel a lot and it's the employees that make the difference between hotels. Rooms were great, LOVED the bed! Good decision going with pillow tip, a great bed makes all the difference.
