DISAPPOINTMENT

Three of 7 floors of this hotel are under total re-construction. The building should not be open for business as is. Also, major construction in adjacent area.

I have lived in San Diego for over 30 years and this place USED to be something special. Now, it is like most convention hotels. Plus the rooms are in need of some real work.

The Hotel Del is over rated and over priced. The rooms smell musty and old. This hotel is not a 5 star quality hotel. The tower rooms need a complete make over, they were a throw back to the 1980's decor.

Beautiful, historic hotel. Staff rude and indifferent with precious few exceptions! Room smelled like neglected kitty litter box, when reported to desk no action taken! Had to purchase glade plug ins to make it bearable. A value at perhaps Half the ...Read more
