A beautiful resort in a beautiful place

My husband and I spent 4 days at the Del and we had a great time. We stayed in the old Victorian building, where the rooms are smaller but also cheeper. The room was more than adequate and very comfortable. The hotel is beautiful and shows its age gracefully. Food and drinks are expensive but the location is unbeatable. The beach is beautiful. There are lots of restaurants within walking distace so you don't have to eat at the Del if you don't want to. The bar and restaurants at the hotel are beautiful and have very good staff.

Beautiful building, grounds and beach, but food was so-so and very OVERpriced. My margarita was flavorless and my cole slaw at cafe was borderline rancid. However, the Sunday Brunch food was fabulous (and VERY, VERY expensive), although our table collapsed as we were eating dessert and our dishes crashed everywhere. I would come again for the beach, but I would eat elsewhere.

Great for families or couples to get away. Beautiful setting, staff friendly, fitness center is new. Large pool for everyone and there is also an adult only pool. It may be considered expensive, but you get what you pay for and it's well worth the money.

I brought my kid sister with me to this hotel along with my best friend and her best friend. We had a great time, visiting some family friends. The pool is amazing, the beach is awesome, the staff is friendly, and overall, it's just fantastic.

Hotel location is perfect for beach goers. Room was not ready by 4pm check-in, but hotel provided free room upgrade. Food at beach/pools was VERY overpriced and of poor quality.
