went here two years in a row for vacation

We stayed here in 2007 and 2008! It was a great stay for us both years. There was a great breakfast in the morning overlooking the intercoastal. Another person complained that the front views are of the parking lot and yes they are, but the back views make up for it! We saw all kind of birds and several large size fish right from the back deck, as well as almost nightly saw dolphins. It is close to the bike trail, and we drove the short ride to honeymoon island! The hotel was clean and our daughter was a young toddler and they were considerate to come back and clean after her nap time. We loved it and recommend it! As well as Casa Tina's restrurant is within walking distance and it was fabulous! I would consider going there again!

Relaxing Holiday Weekend

My husband and I stayed here over the Christmas holiday and enjoyed a very pleasant, relaxing time. The heated pool and outdoor hot tub were great. The room was far better than expected: very very clean, remodeled with comfortable beds, big wooden shutters, and a spotless bathroom with a heat lamp in the ceiling. Front desk staff were courteous and very responsive; housekeeping personnel did a great job and were cheerful, even when working Christmas Day. Location of hotel was within easy walking distance of the quaint town of Dunedin, and an easy drive to more active towns of Clearwater/Clearwater Beach, and Tarpon Springs. We did hear some noise from the room next door, of the type that might be expected....nothing really disturbing at all. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to friends/family.

Peaceful.....close to bike path!

This hotel is currently renovating all their rooms. We stayed in a room which had not been renovated yet and it was in great shape. The restaurant was perfect for watching the sunset. ....lots of windows and elegant. There were two weddings at the hotel while we were here. You have water views out both sides of your room. The hotel is in a great little small town with tiny shops. The bike path goes through close by. Lots of birds to see.....

The worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Stains on the ratty blanket, a horrible mattress and pillows, paper thin walls, the internet service was unreliable, smelly room, windows without blinds that made it feel like daytime at night because of the brightly lit parking lot, and the so called "water views" are actually views overlooking a large parking lot with the harbor behind it. No control over the temperature, just air or heat. Need I say more?!
