The rooms were spotless and had direct access to the beach and boats available at no charge. (in itself priceless). Larger size fridge, soft fluffy towels. We parked and only drove to Whiteface and Santa's Workshop. The staff was smiley and helpful. My children were greeted with smiles even when they were "loud". Tpys int he grand lobby for the children. We never felt unsafe or unwelcome for spending our money there. We have found what we think will be our yearly week long adirondack vacation spot. For lodging and activities. We can not wait to go again. As to how greeat it was...we asked our 6yr old where she would rather go next year to disney again or the Golden Arrow...Answer: Golden Arrow.

We travelled to the Golden Arrow with our family which includes our dog. The hotel was wonderful both with the children and the pets. They have found a nice balance between being pet frinedly and watching out for guests who don;t like pets or have allergies. They have a few pet restrictions (like that they are only allowed in certain rooms), but they are reasonable. The kids had a wonderful time playing on the beach. All in all one of the best vacations we have had in a long while. We will definitely be back.

everyone here is so wonderful, helpful and friendly to the entire family! We love it here. It is our 2nd year and we will be back next year!

My husband and I went for his birthday. We mentioned that at the front desk at check-in; 15 minutes later someone knocks on the door with a gift. We were impressed; nice touch! We stayed in one of their Jacuzzi rooms; very nice! The bathroom had a huge jacuzzi tub and a really nice walk-in glass shower. We had a very nice time there.

The staff at this hotel make it great. They are super helpful and really care about you having a good time. the rooms are great, we were upgraded to a room with a fireplace and jacuzzi. the view, the new restaurant, all top notch. I can't wait to go back.
