Not Happy With This Hotel

Although *** per night is a low rate for a hotel, it was not worth the money in this case. Our King room was very small with old, worn furnishings & the "free breakfast" provided is far less than satisfying. There is no restarurant on site, just an overcrowded room with tables & a mediocre continental breakfast. We nearly cancelled our second night's stay the night of our arrival, but the hotel already went ahead and charged our credit card for both nights. If you want to stay at a Marriott, book at the one a few miles away - the Courtyard. We drove by it on our way to daily activities and it was obviously much nicer than the Fairfield for the same price. Also, the wireless signal was so poor in our room that my husband had to go downstairs to the lobby to go online.

OVERNIGHT FOR THE FAMILY

I chose this hotel for a last minute overnight trip for the family. The room was clean, the staff was OK. The service for breakfast in the morning was poor. We arrive for breakfast @ 900 and there was nothing left. The staff seemed annoyed to make more coffee provide a bagel etc. They even cleaned around us while we were eating spraying various cleaners etc. Price for the room was ok. a little high for this type of hotel. No pool etc.

great stay

It was a great stay. The facility is clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the room was very nice and comfortable. The price was a little high for a lower end Marriott hotel, but it is very nice for this level of accomodations. There's not much in walking distance; mostly shopping, a gas station and a couple restaurants, but great if you're visiting the area for some other purpose and not too far to drive to Lancaster attractions.

One Night Stand

This was a last minute decision, but I picked a wise decision. The friendly ladies greeted us upon arrival. With the wonderful king-size bed, nice cleaned bathroom, and easy access to highway 30, what better way to have a one night stand!
