Let me get right to it. This hotel is NOT a 4 star hotel. At best it is a solid 2. The bellhops are rude , the rooms are smelly, the housekeeping staff is unorganized, the night time management is a joke, the neighborhood is very dirty and noisy (if ...Read more

When we arrived at the Affinia Dumont, we found out that the room we reserved was not available. For my husband's birthday, I had made a non-refundable reservation via phone almost 2 months in advance of our trip for a 1BR suite w/2 queens. We had ...Read more

Good spa, bad food

Good if you wants quiet time, away from the more real parts of NYC. Definitely not a party place. Spa was good but spa/fitness staff a bit self-impressed. Food was bad, staff was sweet.
Pleasantly surprised

Having booked this hotel at a lower than average rate, I was pleasantly suprised. The staff (everyone!) was the nicest I have seen such a long time - very helpful with my questions. The location is in a very quiet, yet close to everything, location. ...Read more
