The Staff, location and the hotel were the best. We will stay here again and I will tell all our friends about this hotel. The room was just super. If you are looking for a great hotel in NYC,this is it.

Enjoyed my stay. I have been to NYC on business several times and this was the largest room I have stayed in. I paid more for rooms in other hotels for smaller and less comfortable. Not frilly but very nice. Great view of Empire State Building from my room. I had a studio. My business associate had a corner room with an very nice view of the water in one direction and the Chrysler Building in the other. It was nice to have a full sized kitchen and refrigerator. I only used it for a few items from the deli next door. The Barking Dog Restaurant located next door had a fairly extensive breakfast menu. Staff was friendly but not intrusive.

Affinia Dumont--great hotel, great location

The Affinia Dumont is conveniently located on 34th street between Lexingtom and 3rd in the Murray Hill neighborhood. Cabs were plentiful and the Lexingtom Ave subway was a short walk. It was an easy cab ride from LaGuardia airport. The Staff is universally friendly, knowledable and helpful. Great restaurants in the surrounding neighborhood. The hotel is clean and up to date. Our room was fabulous with views of Manhattan and the East River. They even have a complementary "pillow menu" to pamper guests. The only hiccup was a broken track on the window blind. A service person was there in a minute but was unable to fix it completely. There is a fitness theme at the hotel and there is an in-house spa as well. I did not use those faciltiies. Too much to do in the city! I would definitely put this hotel at the top of my list when I visit NYC again!

Great staff, great location, plenty of space in the guestroom, clean & fresh, reasonable. Last time I stayed, I had a better view - but still enjoyed my stay. Ask for an upper floor.
