Very Nice Hotel

The Affinia Dumont is a little off the beaten path (Murray Hill Section), but was well worth it. The hotel is not huge, in fact the lobby is quite small. However, the guest room was wonderful. It is bigger than you'd expect in NY. The furniture was lovely, the bed was comfortable, and the full kitchen was a bonus. We will definitely be back.

Gramdma, mom and 6 year old grandson in one suite and we had plently of room. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Lots of great places to eat nearby. Little deli has great sandwiches and there is a Food Emporium three blocks away. Saved a lot of money with the kitchenette. Quick cab ride to theater district and Carneige Hall. Would recommend this hotel to all. The beds were very comfortable and the choices of bedding were great!

Best Hotel for the price with excellent service!

This hotel was everything we look for in a hotel when we travel. We showed up two hours before check in and encountered the best service of any hotel I've stayed at. Our room was clean and had a full kitchen. The location was fantastic! It is 3 blocks from the Empire State building. and not much further from the Chrysler building. There are great restaurants and shopping within walking distance. The subway is around the corner, making it easy to get anywhere in the city. Ask for a room with a view and you won't be sorry. The best thing about this hotel is the service. They will go above and beyond to make your stay easy and comfortable. If you walk around the city all day and still want to work out, they have a fantastic gym and exercise kits you can take to your room. My ONLY complaint is that they do not provide wi-fi and the internet they do provide requires an additional charge per day. When you are paying that much per night for a room, you expect the internet access to be free.

Mother daughter getaway.

My daughter and I stayed at this hotel and loved it. The staff was wonderful and the rooms were comfortable, clean and spacious. The room even provided a compimentary umbrella which came in handy one of the days. The comfy beds even had down comforters. I loved having the kitchenette and the convenient deli down the block to purchase sandwiches and things to make in our room. It helped to save some money on meals which we then spent on shopping!
