Great Experience and Great Location

Located a short walk from Termini Station, it worked out great from the Airport. We took the train to Termini and took the 5 minute walk to the Hotel. I had called the hotel a week before our trip to ask if they could have flowers placed in the room for our arrival (honeymoon). They were happy to accomodate and it went off without a hitch. This hotel is in a great location with many good restaurants close by. We took cabs sometimes... the hotel is happy to call them for you and the cabs always showed up within 5 minutes (many less). Cab fare to vatican 10 euros, cab fare to Piazza Navona 5 euros. Walk to coliseum less than 15 minutes. Walk to Trevi fountain about 20 minutes. The hotel was great and I'm happy we chose it. Breakfast was great too. According to others we met on our trip, you can do much much worse than this hotel.

No complains as far as accomodation is concern. The hotel is very elegant except for the room, it is outdated. But I did not mind them because of exhaustion. The roof top is a plus. Excellent location a block away from Termini station. Overall, its an A. I would recommend this to my family.

Best location, Best value for the money

The Bettoja Mediterraneo is just a block away from the Termini Station making it very accessible to the Metro, Trains and tour buses reducing significantly transportation cost within Rome (taxis are expensive and rates are unpredictable). The most of the staff spoke English and Spanish and were very friendly and willing to give directions and advise on where and how to go to the attractions. The rooftop bar its excellent and has a great view of Rome at night and a nice place to unwind after a full day of walking. The only thing was that the bed are too firm but I know its a matter of taste an opinion. I recommend this hotel to anyone vacationing in Rome specially if you are on a budget.

Perfect Fit

We wanted a location by Termini to rmake day trips to Florence, Naples, Pompei, etc. This hotel was the perfect fit because it met that criteria and the room, breakfast and staff were excellent. Wherever you stay in Rome you will need to travel to see all of the sites. Being located on the eastern end of town we had the advantage of having the sun behind us as we journeyed out to the sites in the morning and at dusk when we journeyed back. We have a lot of great photographs. With all of the tourists in the area we felt and were safe. I plan to stay at this hotel on my next visit to Rome.

I would definitely recommend this hotel. The only complaint we had was the uncomfortable, very hard beds. Pleasant workers, good location.
