We were tired from the flight and canceled dinner reservations at Taillevent in favor of room service in bed. I cannot properly describe the amazing dinner service or the platoon of attendants that arrived with dinner but........the sommelier was there, the wait staff julienned the vegetables on the spot and removed the bones from the crown roast and another attendant prepared a bedside Casear Salad...while yet another used a torchiere to glaze the creme brulee.......pretty nice. I felt a bit underdressed in my tee shirt but we were overwhelmed. Try the crown roast prix fix for two.....and make sure you have it delivered to your room......wow!

AWESOME, discreet, champagne on arrival, iced in silver bucket, white roses perfumed the room, Shalimar cologne in full bottles with matching fragrance in shampoos and body lotions, a marble fireplace, 3 chandeliers, gold swan fixtures in bath with temperature control, towel warmers, bidet. Views of gardens with balcony. Superb service, my nightie was unpacked and placed on the bed with turn down service very creatively. They make their own chocolates!!
