Six-night stay for the Beijing International Choral Festival

Overall, a nice hotel. Front counter staff spoke good English. Exchange money at front counter - which was nice. If you need a lot of money exchanged, the Bank of China is right next door. Clean rooms. Nice linens/pillows. Very hard beds, everyone had hard beds. Free internet but very slow. Laundry service was excellent and cheap. Nice gift shop to buy bottled H2O/sodas, etc. Not much to see around the hotel. For us Americans: Starbuck's right next door.

I found my room at the Best Western Beijing very spacious. I had two chairs with a small table, a desk with another chair, two dressers with a television on top of one, a closet, and a king-size bed. The bathroom was also a good size, with a nice big tub. Each room also had a tea- and coffee-maker and a mini-fridge.

The hotel has an indoor pool, exercise facilities, a gift shop, and a flower shop. It offers laundry services for a very reasonable price.

Breakfast is included with the room price. Breakfast is buffet-style and includes a salad bar, fresh fruit, pastries, and an omelette bar.
