Great Place to Stay

I recently completed my second stay at this hotel and will come back. I used to live in the area, and this is the best of the choices there. It's very near shopping and restaurants, and has easy access to I-81 and Route 11, the two main arteries. The hotel itself is very nice, and the staff is the best. I love Hampton Inns because of their tv channels selection, which is the largest of any hotel I've visited, and their beds, which are superb. There's free breakfast, and warm cookies in the evenings, and there was even a special "sundae night." Since it's a small town, the staff can easily guide you to local attractions. It's a great place to base your stay if visiting Civil War sites, the Blue Ridge Parkway, or the nearby American Shakespeare Center (entertaining and educational even if you don't like Shakepeare). Ask for a room in the front for a beautiful view across the Valley to the mountains.

This Hampton Inn was beautiful. The rooms had elegant furniture, flat screen TV, the bath had what looked like marble tops, cherry cabinets, wonderfull beds. This hotel was the best Hampton Inn I have ever stayed at. The warm cookies were also great. The staff was very, very helpfull. I would recommened this to everyone.
