The exterior of the building looks worn down.
There were no tissues in the room.
The beds were average and the bathroom was outdated.
Nice but needs overhall

The staff was very nice to me. The breakfast was ok and they left it out longer than stated hours for us late folks. The place could be cleaner but overall it was clean enough. The beds need to be replaced since they are old and way worn out. I will stay here again due to the nice staff and great location.
What was I thinking???

We came to Birmingham for the Talladega Race in April from Phoenix. And for what all the other hotels were charging, we decided to just settle on driving (45 min) to the track and not pay $200 + for a room. Well, I assure you, we will look into others that are way closer and cleaner. Holes in the walls, coffee pot still full from last visitor, cigarette burns on the sheets, toilet broken, tv not mounted (safety hazard). Very small and never seemed cleaned like one should be. For this to be an Inn, I would say a sad motel at best! It shouldn't even be offered! P.S. If you like for your check out to be 8 am when you paid til 11, you will get your alarm!

I've stayed in all sorts of hotels all over the world, and this was perhaps the worst experience even compared to worse hotels. Finger nails (not mine) on the floor next to the bed. Internet was down, never came up. Called for a wake up call that never came. The next morning when I called the front desk I was told that if they are busy they can't make phone CALLS to rooms to wake people up. As I pulled in to check in (I moved to a different hotel after one night) a State van came a picked up an work furlough employee. If you're looking for a TERRIBLE hotel experience, this was it. Just DON'T...

The room was clean, but obviously not elegant for the price.
