This is an old hotel to start and the name of the hotel is too close to the Inter-Contential which is where the taxi driver took me even though I gave him the address and the name. The hotel itself has two elevators that aren't very large and move too slow for the number of floor that the hotel has. The rooms are very small, the beds are very, or seem, old, the paint is peeling from the walls and worst of all the t.v. has only 3 channels and 2 of them are spanish!! I speak american!!!!! I would NEVER IN LIFE EVER AGAIN!!! stay at the Contential Bayside hotel even if you paid me. The only good thing about this hotel was the location and the shuttle service to the ship. As for the Inter-Contential, now that's a hotel!! The walk, in the rain 3 blocks was not good either. $25 from miami airport.

the room was not worth 10 dollars, hasn't been painted in decades, the room was nasty. if the pillow case is stained on both sides, why would you put it on the bed. i slept in my close and went across the street to use the bathroom.
keep searching and don't look back

This was our stay the night prior to our cruise. The rooms were run down with stained carpets, dirty walls and subpar bathrooms. The tv's were of poor quality along with bad channel selections. I'm amazed that the travel website would include this hotel in its search pool. In addition, I would avoid the hotel restaurant. My daughter reminded me that the beds were as hard as rocks.
Hotel needs lots of work

WOW!!!, I paid for what I got. If it wasn't for the location of the hotel (right across the street from Bayfront Park) would NOT have stayed there!!!. Helped if staff spoke ENGLISH. Taxis are easy to get, so, use them, as parking your car is expensive. Or park your car at Bayfront Park $10 a day. The rooms need new carpets, paint, linens. Had to ask for an Iron and ironing board. TV only got 6 channels and most of them were in Spanish. the clock radio didn't work and it cost to use the room phone (buy a calling card) WOULDN'T STAY THERE AGAIN!!!!
If you have........ NO OTHER OPTIONS!!!!!!!!!........

Laaawdd!!! :-/ Heading out for a cruise, we arrived in the night. Other hotels were full due to the daytona 500 and the miami boat show . If you're traveling by taxi (no parking) the one staff person was pleasant and helpful. Once we saw the rooms , we couldn't believe it, yuk, we slept sideways in our clothes. We got up and got out of there asap. Our teenagers didn't even want to eat there!! This place needs a m a j or overhaul or an e m p l o s I o n !! All we could do was shake our heads along with the other guests. There were two small elevators that were a joke at check-out time. Based on where it's located, right across from the bayside marketplace and right near the port and the number of travelers, they should do better!!! Disgusting :-(
