Great Location

There was no air conditioning so I brought a fan from home and we also used one of theirs and had them running the whole time. If you stay in a ocean view room, I think one wouldn't be disappointed. for a beach front property, we were very happy with our stay. So much in fact, my husband wanted me to book another night! I did find some things that definetely needed replacing, but I think that is just wear and tear with being on the beach. You can't beat the location, and parking is a tad tight, but we thankfully got there early, and found a spot and left the car for the entire stay! There is a free trolley that will take you into town so you will not need your car. I found the staff very helpful when I had questions. The maintenence and desk staff were VERY helpful and pleasant. The b-fast provided is something to get you through to lunch and is very much what a continential b-fast is supposed to be. Some people wrote how awful it was, but I don't think croisants would warrant that comment. There was cereal, toast, fruit and OJ. This is something they don't have to provide, but they do. Friday night, they have a wine and cheese reception which was also a nice touch! Again, something they don't have to do, but they do it. :) Would stay again!

Our experience here was not a good one. The room phone was not connected and there was not a remote for television. All the furniture was old and cheap. There was not an air-conditioner (my mistake for not checking on that). The fan for the room was very small and poorly located and therefore could not cool down the room. The bedding was just adequate. Overall, I felt this room was not worth the mopey we paid. We had to park off site because there was insufficient parking on site. I understand this is common for the beach, but the parking spaces at the off site facility were very small (and my car is not!). I will not stay here again.

Beware!

For starters...the hotel is not as nice as it seems in their website. It is much smaller and it smells. If you are a woman I would strongly suggest to stay away from this hotel. The staff are rude and condescending. The phone, the fridge and the lock were busted and no attempts were made to fix them. The only good thing this hotel has going for it is its location. Other than that...it's just not worth it!

This place is a dump...

DO NOT STAY HERE. 2 story hotel complex, with no elevator. No air conditioning. Sure, you can open the windows for ventilation, but then everyone that walks by can see everything you're doing unless you close the really thick curtains, which don't allow in the breeze. So if you're getting ready to go out, you either lose privacy by opening the curtains, or get ready in your unventilated room. And at night, if you leave the balcony and windows open for air, you don't have a screen or anything, so technically someone could reach in or if the balcony is close to the walkway, they could walk in to your room. I'm 5 foot 1, and I practically had to duck to wash my hair in the shower (not an exaggeration). The hot water/cold water gauge didn't work, so you'd have to guess which way was which, and sometimes once you thought you got it right, it just went the complete opposite temperature mid shower. The towel rack fell when I went to pull off the towel. Staff couldn't find my confirmation at check-in, but when they finally found my name, oh look, the confirmation number i gave them was attached. Very limited parking directly in hotel, but if you can't find a spot on site, you can park about a block and a half away in their alternate lot (no valet). For the money, it's TRULY not worth it. Do not stay here. You can get the same view at a number of other places for comparable rates.

I was very excited because my wife and I arrived at night, but the rooms need a major overhaul. We did not want to step on the carpet with our bare feet because they were so gross. I felt like I was catch a disease from the carpet and bedspread.
