"it wasn't bad, the hot water was out for a couple days but that was because of the rain. I wanted to prove a point - that going to NYC could be cheap and you can still have a great time - and I did. The hotel is a place to sleep and that's it. I would stay there again."

I've stayed her a couple of time in the last year or so. I always come back because of price an location. This time I was pleasantly surprised by the improvments. Freshly painted, new carpeting, new bedding. Same friendly staff.

We've stayed for 7 days in December 2006 in a double-bed shared bath room.The shared bathrooms are both numereous and spotless clean,the rooms are cleaned and sheets are changed every day.Rooms are nice and warm,but everything is quite old.They really need to get new carpets.The staff is helpful and friendly,as are the other guests.Overall,a good choice.Will stay again.
Not a Hotel

I didn't like the Hotel at all, the smell, the building is too old. It was like a rented room. Positive things: Price & Location.
