Diamond in the ruff

This was a last minute trip and I feel like this place is a diamond in the ruff. The room was clean and the staff were great and friendly. It was only a 20 minute drive to both Boyne resorts or Nub's Nob. We had a great view of the Bay from our room. We loved the outdoor enterance. My husband and I loved the free cyber cafe' with plenty of snack options. Just as a note this is not a diner or restaurant so the options are limited but they do have a wide variety a snacks both hot and cold and they also plenty of breakfast foods. Just don't try to live off the cafe' for your entire stay as some reviews seem to have expected. Overall I will definitely stay again.

Great views and a nice, clean room. The evening hotel desk clerk was quite rude, however, and the 24 hour cafe is full of unheathy (albeit free) food.
Terrible Experience

It was 90 degrees outside and our air conditioner only worked occassionally. Coffee Pot had grounds from the last guests. Dishonest Manager said we would get one day refunded then went back on his word. Lots of nice places to stay in Petoskey - skip this place!

We were very happy with our stay, where customer service was wonderful. The kids loved the 24 hr Free Cyber Cafe!!!
