Great vist. Clean room. Hot Tub was clean & water hot. Bed comfortable. Friendly staff. A no hassle stay.
Great hotel - Bad food on property

The hotel was clean, comfortable, easy parking, nice pool and hot tub - no sauna as advertised. Big Bear restaurant on the property was nice, had good service, but we had 4 people, 4 different meals, tasted every dish and EVERY dish was not edible. We had to leave almost all of our meals.

I was pretty impressed with the Red Lion of Bend. For starters, there are not many motels that will let you book one night on a holiday. We generally stay with my husband's family, but his father was very ill and a family member had offered their home to us for the holidays, but we had to wait until they left on their vacation, which was Christmas Day.
The booking was easy, the front desk help was very nice and he gave us a coupon for 25% off our next visit. The room was clean and they allow dogs - we had our Shiz Tsu with us. The charge was onnly $10.00 for the night, considering that we were quoted as much as $30.00 a night for our pet! And the cincher for us was that the heat was on, the room was cozy warm...............the temp outside was 20F. Thank you to the Red Lion for making our stay homey. We will be back, and we will tell everyone we know about them!

The bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The coffee and tea in the room were of good quality. I loved that the soaps and lotions were from Bath and body.
