I have now at the Fitz. close to 10 times on business. I have watched the Hotel evolve over the years into a fine place to stay. If you are a business travellor, the most important thing is that the bed be comfortable, every Hotel has pretty well the same thing , high speed etc. What I appreciate most is a bed very much like my bed at home and the Fitz. delivers , expensive Linen and a mattress that is pretty much what I sleep on every night.The restuarant is also very nice and friendly with Great Steak and egg's. Well done Fitz I have enjpoyed my stays at this property.

My mother, brother, sister iin law and I stayed at the Fitzpatrick for five days over the Christmas holiday. Hotel is ideally located within one block of Grand Central Station, on a relatively quiet side street. The hotel is pleasantly small, and consequently the staff quickly learn to recognize you. Rooms were small but well appointed, with good sized bathrooms. The adjoining bar/restaurant has the atmosphere of a real Irish pub. If you are looking for a friendly, small hotel in midtown, you should definitely consider the Fitzpatrick.

The rooms weren't huge but nice. Canopy beds and bedding were wonderful. We ended up with the handicapped room -- the bathroom was awesome! Location was great as was the staff. We would definitely stay here again!

A true gem in the centre of Midtown, just a 1 minute walk from Grand Central Station and about 15 minutes on the subway or by cab to anywhere in Manhattan. The peace and quietness of this hotel is unbelievable, you would think you were on the west coast of Ireland - miles from nowhere!!. The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. They have most comfortable hotel beds we have slept in. We cannot wait to return there again and have recommended the Fitzpatrick Grand Central to all our friends as 'a must stay in' while in New York.

My girlfriend (turned fiance) stayed here and loved it. The staff was very nice. The room was clean and spacious. It's a block from Grand Central Station and 4 blocks from Times Square. We're definitely staying here when we go back.
