A place in Paradise

Superb landscaping mimicking a tropical island. The personnel was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very comfortable and the bathroom well organized. The tub needed painting or replacing. They did not provide a coffee machine but when we asked they brought one right away. The numerous swimming pools are children friendly. I went to Paradise Point with my 86 year old mother and it was great. I advised my daughter to go there with her 4 1/2 year old twin boys.

We were hesitant to book here because of the bad reviews -especially since we had to pay up front and it was nonrefundable. We were, however, able to go to the property in advance and take a look around. We booked a bungalow on the beach in paradise cove. We have a 1 yr old and a 4 yr old and it was perfect for them - lots to do, right on the beach (no lugging beach stuff), kid-friendly pools, golf putting, tennis, croquet, ducks, fish ponds, quad bikes. You can walk to Sea World if you wish. We will go there again. Our room was clean and nice - if there are shabby rooms we didn't have one.

Awesome property location with poor front desk customer service

If you are going to this property to relax, you've gone to the wrong place if you have to deal with the front desk. The associates at the front desk have no 5 star skills and appear that they are not empowered to make any decisions. When we arrived at this hotel for an early check in, we were told that the computers were down and that they couldn't check us in. After eating some of the horrible food at Barefoot Beach for over a hundred bucks we checked on our room again... Still not available.... Finally a quarter after 5 we were given a room, however it wasn't what we reserved. A phone call to the front desk was a waste of my time. They keep putting you on eternal hold. After being frustrated with attempting to call them via phone, I went head and walked up the front desk, where I found several employees all screwing around and doing nothing. Needless to say they were not able to help me or reaccomidate me. I asked for the manager to call me and to date, no phone call. It was my expecetation that he would call me while I was a guest at the property, however that didn't happen... Poor customer service and poor quality rooms.. The only plus for this place is the location and the tropical property.

Parking Expesive

Surprised to have to pay $25 per day for parking - mandatory. That is nearly % of my room rate paid. Uncool. Got a room upgrade - but room was musty smelling - but clean. Room was decent but a bit shabby. Grounds, beach and pools excellent. Casual restaurant good. Friendly staff. Good coffee.
