the toilet

Falsely advertised as an Econo Lodge this place was horrible beyond belief. I had to find a place that would take pets and this looked decent online. The phone didn't work, the toilet rocked when you sat down, the sink leaked, there were no outlets except in the bathroom. There was no cleanex, no glasses, and no ice bucket. The indoor pool advertised was empty and the outdoor one was green and gross. The bedding, carpet, vinyl, towels, walls, refrigerator, furniture and pretty much everything in the room was stained and ragged. We only stayed 2 nights because we were unable to find another hotel that would take our dog. The AC was up high on a wall and to turn it on I had to climb on a chair. The walls were thin and when a neighbor closed the door it shook our room. The TV was fuzzy and about the only thing in the hotel that wasn't stained, ragged and disgusting or not working was the mirror on the wall in the bedroom. The mirror in the bath was bad. It is a very short walk to the ocean although we were not there for that. I'm going to contact Econo Lodge and Travel to let them know that this hotel is not what advertised.

the bathroom door had been kicked in at some point and not properly repaired, leaky bathtub faucet, we were put on the second floor when most of the other ground floor rooms were available, indoor pool and whirlpool was drained, outside pool water was green and unusable. this hotel needs some work. the staff, however were very nice and beach access was nearby. if you stay here be sure to ask if the pools are available for use, that was the main thing we were disapointed with.
