Great hospitality

What a wonderful hotel. The decor is lovely, the bathrooms are completely updated, the rooms are spacious, and the beds (including the 2 additional feather pillows) are divine. We enjoyed the hot breakfast with eggs, bacon, and waffles as well. The thing that really sets this hotel apart is the staff, however. When we arrived there was a noise in the air conditioner - we called about it and a friendly maintenance man was there in under five minutes. Problem solved. By the second day, the bell captain and valet knew our names! Everyone at the Magnolia is attentive, friendly, and helpful. You do feel as though you are their guest. Nice restaurants (and Nieman Marcus) nearby. The ONLY drawback is that the driveway and valet area are very small and can become overly crowded. Highly recommended!

Suite Not Good

Suite only offered an air bed on the floor; not an air bed on a frame as we were told. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful at all times. Very nice touch with great hot breakfast (including Starbuck's coffee); we missed the happy hour; but the evening cookies and hot beverages were wonderful also. Surrounding area not to our liking.

The hotel was beautiful and the room was very spacious and comfortable. All of the staff that I talked to were very accomodating. The only problem that I see is the only hotel parking is valet and the nearest city parking lot is 2 blocks away. Overall the stay was great and I would consider staying here again for sure!

I spent 1 night in this hotel and I loved it. It is a wonderful old building, downtown location, only a few blocks from JFK musem. There is also an Starbucks on the building. You don't need your car, excelent location. The room was clean I got a room on the 18th floor, very nice view. The hotel offered a complimentary brunch from 8:00 p.m to 10:00 p.m. Breakfast was very good. I do recommend this hotel for those who are looking for a nice location, nice staff, good beds. I paid approx 123$, I got a last online deal, including tax and vallet (20$).

I know it's Dallas and a large city. But Neiman's is a block away. 2 wonderful resturants, one of them 4 Star across the street. We stayed there for New Year's Eve. Texas hospitality at its best. A couple we met at the bar waiting for our table in the resturant invited us to share the table and the new year with them. When there was a fire alarm in the middle of the night pulled by pranksters, the hotel gave us a free comp room/upgrade to be used later for 2 days stay.
