Conference at the Sheraton

  • July 2, 2007
  • Rated 5 of 5 by a traveler from Travelocity.com
Our family stayed here on a business trip. The hotel is within walking distance to many attractions...Pike Market, Aquarium, Convention Center, Monorail, & Shopping. Our flight arrived very late & without our luggage, the front desk staff was very accomodating. The 35th floor pool was awesome! Our room was very quiet. Only drawbacks - construction abounded on 1st floor inside & out; plus parking (must use valet).

Sheraton Seattle Hotel and Towers

The Sheraton Seattle Hotel and Towers is centrally located and priced on the higher scale of the price-range for Seattle Hotels. It is on the corner of 6th and Pike. This means it is within blocks of Pike Place Market. There are also major shopping areas and restaurants nearby. (We could see FAO Schwartz from our room!)

The room was beautiful. It was taste-fully decorated with large windows overlooking the city, a television and a desk. There were four of us in this 2 doubles room and we were all very comfortable. The beds were a dream and the perfect end for the active-Seattle day. We had a standard room and it also included a small seating area near the window. The bathroom was clean and large.

The service was exceptional. Because we were in and out of the hotel so much, we were unable to take advantage of the following features:

-Sauna
-Fitness Room
-Indoor Heated Pool
-Indoor Whirlpool
-Shops

We travelled around the outskirts of this city a lot. I felt it was so convenient and accessible, that I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wanted to get away from the city during the day. I'm sure there are also great hotels closer to nature, but Sheraton in Seattle has so many luxuries to take advantage of when your day is over. I also recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to be centrally located within Seattle. It is in the heart of everything. It is beautiful and friendly. In other words, anyone visiting Washington State should stay at the Sheraton.

Heavenly

The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable, with no audible noise at all from the hall or adjacent rooms. The location is superb, an easy walk to Pike Street Market and lots of Seattle attractions. The pool is on the 35th floor with a great view through all-glass walls. The jacuzzi was great. This is my favorite hotel in downtown Seattle.

close to shopping and convention center

This hotel is good if you're going to the convention center or want to shop. You could shop all day within a four block radius. We got some exercise by walking down to the Pike market and back. Warning to people who have never been to downtown Seattle: steep hills throughout downtown area. You must try the Union Square Grill around the corner from this hotel. The hotel is ok, and we stayed on the club level floor, which is good for breakfast and snacks. Bathroom is small for club level and the bed was not soft.
