I have stayed at the newly named LaQuinta many times when I visit with my family in Virginia. Staff is very friendly. Rooms are being updated but are still clean and safe. Beds are very confortable. Will definately stay again.

Good motel. Front desk staff and maids friendly. Room was comfortable and very clean. Billing was a bit of an issue but should be handled by now. Would stay again.

Understanding Helpful Staff but Still Sub-Standard Stay

My room was infested with ants. While the staff did claim to spray inside and out after my complaint, I still found (and killed) as many ants "after spraying" as I did before I complained. I did not demand another room, nor was one offered. A minor annoyance was the fact that there was no ice machine on my floor, and had to go to another floor to access ice and/or snacks. Not exactly convenient. Given that there are so many other hotels in the area to choose from, I wouldn't choose this one again or recommend it.

Noisy, Lumpy, Dirty

* This hotel had such great reviews so I decided to stay here. I do not share the opinions of the other reviewers. There was a girls basketball event going on so the whole hotel was full of screaming teenage girls. It wouldn't be so bad if they didn't keep running down the halls and slamming doors all night. I complained to the front desk & they said they would "try" and do something. * The bed was so lumpy and uncomfortable. * The bathroom was dirty. * The business center with a computer and work table was "out of order." * The only good things were convenience to downtown Roanoke (about 15 minute drive) and the hotel was safe & secure, but I still wouldn't stay here again. * $* + a night is a rip off. * Hence, I don't recommend this hotel.

I have never stayed at a Baymont before but it was very clean and there was a wonderful complimentary breakfast, inexpensive soda/water machine and on premise washer/dryer. Very convenient to the major highway adn airport.
