My family recently visited The Embassy Suites Golf/Resort and Spa in Concord, N.C. This was our very first time staying at an Embassy Suites Hotel. From the time we walked into the lobby and found our room, we were in complete amazement. Embassy Suites Concord is in a class of its own. We enjoyed several ammenities during our stay. Before retiring to our suite for the night, we had the opportunity to enjoy The Manager's Reception. This was love at first sight for my husband. Our two sons enjoyed this also----it was kid-friendly and this was a BIG plus!! We looked forward to waking up each morning to experience the most delicious and satisfying breakfast we have ever experienced in all of our hotel experiences. The staff was always helpful, caring, and willing to please all of thier guests. I love the fact that ALL of the rooms are suites, which is perfect for traveling families. The suites were extremely clean, comfortable, and very contemporary. I look for those qualities in all my hotel travels. There is NOTHING negative that can be stated about this Embassy Suites. During our future travels to other cities and states, we will ALWAYS be sure to make Embassy Suites our FIRST choice of hotels. You will be pleasantly surprised at the quality you will recieve without it being overpriced.

This was the greatest hotel stay I have ever had. I took my family and it were very nice. The only problem was they didn't have us booked in although they did let us in because we paid ahead of time. The maid came in at eight in the morning because we didn't have a sign on our door. It was okay though. The breakfast was the BEST of all the other hotels I have been to, free breakfast hot and cold buffet. Nice coffee restraunt. They had a fantastic grill which we ended up eating at every night. The whole presentation of the hotel was excellent. Glass elevators and spiral staircases. This also made the hotel open. We ordered room service the last night and they had a elegant dinner come to us with folded napkins and everything still. The hotel room was the cleanest I have ever seen. It was big a roomy and the beds were comfy. The room was dark because the only lighting was lamps but it made a special feel in the room that was relaxing. We went to the pool after dinner every night and they have an awesome hot tub with a timer to keep you safe. They provide nice towels and everything and they heated pool was nice for the kids to play in. It was not too crowded, only three or four other families/people. One night, we had the place to ourselves. The problem was that one of the kids got sick and we had to find a pharmacy. There was not one for fifteen miles. This hotel was great and I will go back easily and tell all my friends. It really made you feel important.
Almost Perfect!! Fantastic except for 1 thing: the HD Fiasco!

Perfect in almost every respect. One of the cleanist and beautiful hotels I've been in. Just one negative and it was a Big One for me. One of the reasons I selected this hotel was because of the up to date HD 32' televisions. Guess what; on HD broadcasts it was just marvelous except in most cases you had to strain to hear it. The hotel has a volume limiter on all the TVs in the hotel, I presume to keep TVs from annoying other guests. On some stations the maximum limit was barely sufficient, but on most channels it was really unacceptable. We had to keep perfectly silent to hear the TV. What a shame!! I spoke to other guests and they had the same complaint. I called the front desk about it but they couldn't do anything about it. What made things even worse was that we had planned to purchase several 'On Command' movies. We tried to watch '3:10 to Yuma'; boy was that torture. Not only was the volume so low we could barely hear it but the movies weren't broadcasted in HD!! They took a widescreen movie as if it was broadcast for a regular TV and stretched it across to fit the wider HD TV. Does anyone with any viewing skills check and see the quality of this product they are selling to guests. The movie on the TV was about 4 or 5 inches tall. What a Disaster!! This is something they should address immediately!! For a hotel to go through so much trouble to make your stay marvelous, to overlook this element of the stay is an embarrassment.Six days of horrible television was totally infuriating even when spent in a perfect setting!

I stayed at this hotel with my wife on a house hunting trip while we were relocating from Florida. At less than * dollars per night, you can't beat this hotel. It is brand new (in 2007). Rooms are suites with a door. You could have 2 adults in the BR and kids on the fold out sofa.
HDTVs in both rooms.
The only negative is that when I tried to make a reservation to return, they told me there was a 3 day min stay at $*/night due to a race. I have since found that they use this for other weekends as well (i.e. September car show). $* is a lot to pay for a room in Concord.

There were nine of us piled high in a 15 passenger van, with luggage to boot! We were looking forward to taking advanatage of tax free weekend sales at the area outlet malls. To make sure we took time to relax we pre-scheduled visits with the spa. Everything from mud baths and massages, to the standard pedicure and manicure. We knew we'd have a good time (we always do). What we were pleasantly surprised by was the fabulous facilities and service we got at this hotel. It has a very grand entrance, glass elevators and marble floors - all the standard luxury options. The rooms were spacious enough that we only needed two between the nine of us. The hotel was spacious enough to accomodate two family reunions and a wedding (they were gorgous - her in her slender white off the shoulder gown and him in his Marine uniform (sigh!) plus all the other guests.
The spa was also perfect. Amid the hussle and bussle, tucked away, is the peaceful, serenity of the spa. Our group so appreciated the pampering & fellowship we experienced. In fact, one of our group is going back in two weeks with her husband to celebrate their anniversary!
We not only got recommendations for dinner, the conciere was able to get us last minute reservations for a party of 9 at an exclusive Charlotte restaurant.
Did I mention breakfast? All you can eat, anything you want. Yes, ANYTHING!
We were treated with respect and catered to our every need.
It's obvious Embassy Suites knows how to find the best people and put them together with the best product. They are truly striving to be the customer's first choice.
