Great for family

With children the kitchenette, location of pool and spa, games etc makes a Reno visit much more relaxing then the Casino Hotels. Grandparents liked it too. We were able to spend time together in the comfy living room.

actually a time share

When I called the front desk to ask for maid service I was informed that Celebrity Resorts is actually a time share resort property and doesn't provide maid service to guests that stay less than 7 days. They did offer a towel exchange and trash removal. This property is an infill property with little houses, a vacant lot and power lines alongside of the building. I wouldn't expect a great view from any of the rooms. Pluses would be a large selection of tv channels, microwave, mini fridge and kitchenette. Staff is extremely nice and friendly. Location is central; close to downtown, river, parks.

Good value but fix the A/C unit puhleez

The only complaint I had was that the a/c unit was SO LOUD when it turned on. Other than that it was quiet, clean enough, close to the river and walking distance to downtown area. They could restock their vending machines a little more often though. Late night munchie search netted not much in their lobby vending area. Though we didn't take the kids this time there were daily activities/craft time for kids that looked fun. I absolutely loved the pool and spa. Spent every morning in there recharging for another day of gambling and drinking. I'd stay again.

Don't waste your time or money with this place.

Right off the bat I want to make it clear to everyone that this is a TIMESHARE hotel. So you don't get daily maid service like at a regular hotel. Next, the hotel is antiquated & needs a total renovation. Third, The A/C systems in the rooms are a joke. Blow warm air & even if they blew cool air you'd never get a wink of sleep. Loud, like a train in your room. Fourth, Walls are thin. Fifth, The wireless internet is a joke. You have to call an 800 number & pay a private vendor $10 a day. The service didn't even have enough bandwidth for me to check my email. All I could do was check the news. What good is having a kitchenette in your room when it's hot & noisy in your room & you can't even get a decent nights rest.

good place to stay

This hotel was in good order, clean, and presentable. The room was very nice with a small kitchenette. (ie. fridge, range, microwave) the staff is very friendly and helpful. We will be coming back to stay there again.
