Fantastic, Quiet, Clean, Secure

Plan to stay there again next year with extended family. Did not use either of the two pools, they looked clean and enjoyed the chaise chairs by the outdoor pool. Room was very clean, Only "complaint" coffee pot needs to be bigger. At least a four cup. A ways from the Center, which is good, quieter. Plenty of restaurants, shopping mall, food stores around. Coffee shop on premises was very good, quick service at an extremely good price. Staff was friendly in both lobby, and restaurant. Maintenance was the best, met several in hallways, always friendly. Just a great place to stay.

Good Enough

This was the last hotel on our two week vacation. The room was very clean and the bed offered us the most comfortable sleep of the whole trip(we stayed in two four star hotels) but the hallways smelled like a dirty ashtray. Two staff members were very friendly ( an older gentlemen and one of the front desk workers) but other than them the front desk staff was extemely rude, unfriendly, and none helpful. We were looking for somewheres to eat and the lady at the front gave us a name of 1 restuarant. Did Not mention ocean walk at all. We enjoyed the ocean and being in daytona so this hotel served it's purpose. If staying in Daytona again we would spend more money and stay in a nicer hotel.

Very Happy

It was very nice and clean place. The staff was very friendly. The rooms and bathrooms were nice. The location was ok because it is close to Ormond Beach with stores and resturaunts within 2 miles. Nothing exclusive but the other guests seemed happy as well. It was nice to have a room facing the beach - very relaxing and restfull at night.

Good place to stay in Daytona

We booked this motel based on travelers' reviews on this site. The staff was friendly; the room was clean; the view and location on the beach were fantastic; we enjoyed our stay here and would stay here again if we were to ever visit Daytona Beach again. This motel is in North Daytona Beach, away from the Boardwalk and crowds - really no shopping within walking distance, but we had a car so we had no problems getting to the busy shopping areas, if we wished to. We didn't use the pool, but it wasn't as attractive as the next door motel's pool. The coffee was excellent in the pool area cafe. Do NOT eat at Barnacles (about 1 mile north of the motel). The front desk clerk recommended it the first night, and it was horrible - the service and the food.

Just Terrible

The staff at this hotel was not very friendly and extremely unprofessional, they were sitting out in front smoking instead of working the front desk. Room was not very clean, it looked like it had not been vacuumed in weeks. The carpet was all torn up, and the entire hotel had a foul odor. The indoor pool was closed half the time. And of the four days we spent there they came to clean our room once. Just terrible!
