Nasty Hotel

This hotel was horrible. It looks like it is undergoing renovation, but no work appears to be getting done. Unswept carpets in the hallways, peeling paint, terrible smells everywhere. The bathroom in my room looked liked it was recently redone, so it wasn't too bad. But the air conditioner in the room didn't work at all. The thermostat on the wall was busted. The only thing on the air unit that would work was "vent" and when you turned it on, you were subjected to the most horrible type of smell and well as loud groaning sounds from the motor. I had a laptop with me but the Wi Fi didn't work. The one available wall electrical outlet in the room was covered with plastic so it couldn't be used. I never got a receipt for my stay from the hotel, other than my credit card receipt. They have a very large sign hung up outside that says "Rooms - $" but I ended up paying $. When I checked out in the morning, no one was on duty in the office, so I just tossed my room key on the desk and left. Take my advice - there are two other hotels right next door to this one that look much better. Pay the extra money and stay at one of them, you won't regret it.

Read reviews on website before departing for trip-called company I would be visiting and that had reserved my room. Expressed my concern about bad reviews--company sent representative to check room prior to my arrival. Person said the room was acceptable--checked in without checking room--big mistake. Air conditioner sounded like a helicopter and did not cool at all. General appearance of hotel and room left a lot to be desired. However, the unit is being remodeled and may improve. Guess they didn't get to my room yet.Entry door does not self-close so if you are used to that happening check closely. Stayed against my better judgement. Changed hotels the next day.

Get A Tetanus Shot First

This fleabag motel was an absolute dump. I was not expecting much, but this rat's nest was barely habitable. The paint was peeling off the walls, the elevator and hallways smelled of urine, the sheets had crusty semen stains on them and the heat was on during a 75 degree day in June. The front desk explained that the heat was central and we couldn't control it. The front desk and staff were absolutely clueless. This hotel should be shut down as it is a health hazard. There was construction taking place and there were metal pipes being cut right outside our door. They easily could have put us in any one of their rooms but decided to put us on a floor where construction was underway in front of our door. The TV kept cutting out when we walked around the room. We asked the front desk to move rooms and they said that since we booked it from ONLINE TRAVEL WEBSITE , that we were stuck. I don't think I can properly articulate to the readers how disgustingly filthy and horrid this place was. If there were zero stars I would pick that. There is no value for the price because we had to check out and stay somewhere else. Unless you are on austerity or didn't have the sense to book a room for your child's graduation earlier, you will do the same. Thankfully, there was vacancy at other hotels since school was out for summer. Also, a staff member slammed the door in my face while I was carrying my luggage. They gave me someone else's credit card receipt and could not provide a copy of my bill since they didn't own a printer. There was no manager on duty to try to rectify the situation. Just atrocious!

Room was very tastefully Decorated and clean, Bathroom was clean, AC was only on one setting and we had no way to adjust it, but we had a fan so used it. They had a nice map at the front desk so that we could get around and get food to eat, Front desk not overly friendly but not rude, small continental breakfast. nice parking lot, very nice area
