One of the worst hotel experiences we have ever had. The staff was terrible. It took us over an hour from check in to actually get into our room. Technical issues and staff that appeared not to have a clue were the culprit, Made 5 trips to the front desk in 3 days to get our room key recoded so we could get in and out. Had to hunt down toilet paper for our room one day as the maids only left alittle on the roll. Had to have the parking attendant direct us to the front desk on day 2 to get a parking permit. Room service takes over an hour for delivery.
We stayed in the bay tower. which has a convienent alarm clock since the north side faces the airport. Planes start flying at 0630 every day, Absolutely would never stay here again. Better hotels at cheaper prices to be had elsewhere downtown

Our room was comfortable, plus there was a great view of the bay from our balcony. There's also a nice little gym and pool in the hotel. The shuttle service to and from the airport was also convenient, although no shuttle service downtown. It's about a * cab ride to the convention center. There's also free wi-fi in the lobby, which made it handy to check e-mail without paying the * daily fee for wireless access.

If you like waterfront views and boats this is your hotel. There are a lot of places to walk along the water and enjoy the harbor right out the front of the hotel. The weekend pool party is a lot of fun for the whole family. The food at the hotel restraunts is a little expensive but very good quality. We will be back soon
The worst hotel experience ever....

I chose to stay at the Sheraton because I thought they were nice hotels. Not in this case. We stayed in the Marina Tower which is about a mile away from the main hotel that has the restaurants, pool, and other amenities. The two towers should not be considered the same hotel. Parking is awful. You have to pay $* a night for parking which does not even guarantee you a spot in a paved parking area. There was hair (not from your head) on the toilet, mold on the bathroom ceiling, the remote control was sticky, and the couch did not look clean. You could hear toilets flushing from other rooms and noises from neighboring rooms. We had breakfast at the restaurant which consisted of the breakfast buffet and a basic eggs and bacon breakfast which was awful. It was the worst $* we have ever spent. To top it all off the hotel charged us for the two night's stay although we already paid for it in a package deal. DO NOT STAY HERE!

I was really suprised with this hotel. It was much better than I thought. The staff were very friendly. It is in a great location and it was very easy to find. If you want a place by the airport, pick this place. The view was wonderful. Seeing the boats, ships, and the water was very nice. The room was clean. The pool was a good size. We will certainly stay here again when we visit San Diego.
