Everything good but the mattress

This is a very nice place to stay but the matress needed to be changed. It had been used long enough that there was a slump in the middle. Of course everyone loves the warm cookies and we got our fair share as they are generous with the cookies. The breakfast buffet meal left a little bit to be desired but the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Overall the hotel is in very good condition, clean floors, plenty of towels, bathroom very clean, all of the things one might expect from Doubletree. Please consider replacing the matresses

Terrible Service/Location

I would only recommend this hotel if you already know the area. If you traveling to Denver for the first time I would not recommend this hotel at all. There is no concierge and the staff at the front desk knew very little about the area. The courtesy shuttle was also very unreliable. They have up to four vans at the hotel but only one driver. It is not very fun waiting at the light rail station at night for the shuttle to come. The maids were also hit or miss. We had two rooms on the same floor and one room was cleaned while the other was not. All in all I would say this is a decent crash pad if you know the area but if you are coming to visit Denver there are certainly much better hotels with more helpful staff.

Always a Great Stay!

The Doubletree Aurora is always a nice time. I stay there with my husband now - but have alway stayed there as a kid with my family. Pretty good location right off of I-225. Great Value only paid $64 a night. That CRAZY cheap - other hotels in the area (like right across the Intrerstate) $90+ a night. Room service is usually fine for room service - and you always get there Wonderful famous cookies at check in. 20 min from downtown or 2 min from lightrail station that will take you downtown for around $3 (and then don't worry about parking down there). Redone the rooms etc. with in the last year and things look great. Bright and comfortable. We were on a floor with a wedding party and they did PARTY. It was okay - didn't keep us up to late - still slept fine in the GREAT big king size bed. Close to shopping (Aurora Mall) and dinning. Stay here the next time you are in the area.

Wonderful Weekend Get-Away

The room was very spacious, clean, newly decorated, quiet, and the bed was extremely comfortable. There is a small coffee/tea maker in the room, nice start to the morning. Nintento 64, internet, and new movies (on the television set) for a fee, but nice to have the option. Room service is rather pricey so we didn't try it out The staff was all very nice and professional. The drawback for us; my husband is 6'4" and the showerhead was short for him. Definitely stay again and recommend to friends. The warm cookie at check in was a nice little surprise.

It was a wonderful stay. The staff was very nice and accommodating; the bed was like sleeping on a cloud. Very nice oversize king room. Highway traffic did not bother me. I will definitely return; great room for the price.
