Reliably great value

I am a frequent traveler to Atlanta. I have stayed in a LOT of the hotels around the airport area, and trust me when I tell you that this particular Country Inn and Suites is very, very good. The price is always good, and the hotel is clean, well-kept, and the staff is friendly and helpful. They serve a hot breakfast, and there's a lady there who oversees the breakfasts and makes you feel like you're at your favorite aunt or grandmother's house. They always try to give you what you're looking for, they have a laundry and lots of extras for stranded travelers. The computer room/business center is really sad, but other than that, it's great. The beds are extremely comfortable and the rooms are beautiful. The area is a little sketchy, but not too bad. A word of advice, though: make very sure that you book THIS CI&S on Hardin Ave, because the other airport one is awful.

Dirty and Unkempt

My wife and I stayed here on an overnight as we returned from vacation. I have always loved Country Inn and Suites, but this hotel was terrible. The room was dirty. It was called a non-smoking room, but they had sprayed so much "room deodorant" into the room that it was almost worse than cigarette smoke. Also there were cigarette burns on the sink, and hair on the pillows and towels! The only upside was a friendly greeting when we arrived. But we would definitely recommend NOT staying here.

Hotel was what you would expect for the price. Staff were nice and the room was clean. Microwave and a ref. where in the room. The hotel isn't in the best of areas but I felt safe. Breakfast bar could have been better.Over all I was happy.

The lobby and corridors smelled of warm baked cookies. Fresh cookies are available at check in. Nice touch. Wonderful atmosphere. Comfy beds, qiuet room, good breakfast, convienant location. Not luxuary but well worth the money.
