Great Location

We felt safe at all times. Folks were courteous and helpful. Compared to other Manhatten stays this was a great hotel. The only disconcerting thing was the lack of light in the lobby. Ambiance for younger folks I guess.

Great Hotel-Great Size for NYC

We enjoyed our say at Flatotel recently (August 1st)The size of the room was surprising large for NYC. King size bed very comfortable. Reasonably quiet. Staff was extremely attentive and professional. Location was perfect as it's located just outside of Times Square, and walking distance to just about anything. Family members were even more fortunate to get a suite which was extremely spacious with all kinds of amenities including stove, dishwasher and flat screen television. Would definitely stay there again. Had a great experience! .

First Time in NYC

This was my first time to visit New York City. The hotel was excellent. The staff was very curtious and helpful. We arrived before the check in time and they were able to find a room for us. The room was larger then expected and the bed was incredible, best hotel bed I ahve ever slept in. The location was excellent and in thte middle of everything, with easy access to the subway just a couple of blocks away. At check out, they even held our luggage for us as we still had the rest of the day before our flight left. I will definitely stay here again and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting in NYC.

Highly recommend this hotel! Great location: near Times Square, Central Park, Subways, and great restuarants.

the hotel was perfectly situated for walking to the theater district and times square even at night. Also the tour bus (grayline)has a stop very nearby. The bed was extremely comfortable. They did not make up our room one day but were very accomodating once I pointed it out to the front desk. I took my 10 year old son by myself and never felt unsafe walking at night. I was nervous about going to NYC and I'm sure the location made all the difference! We would love to stay there again.
