Room service needs serious work--I made 3 calls to get a pot of coffee, which arrived 45 minutes late & was $19.20. Room furnishings are dramatic, but seating is inadequate, particularly for us seasoned citizens. The bed was GREAT! Lobby floors are slick. Some excellent restaurants are an easy walk away.

The Hotel Palomar was a great hotel. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and eager to help. The room was large, clean and comfortable. The decor is very modern/urban with a little flair of Africa. The location was right outside of Dupont Circle. A Starbucks was next door and the Metro was a block away.

We stayed for a romantic week-we met in DC and go back to relive our romantic meeting- great place to do this! Fantastic!

Stayed in this hotel while attending a conference up the street. Not only is it located in a prime location, but the hotel staff was very helpful and the facilities were wonderful.

The staff are very friendly. I like the location. Beds are very comfortable. Restaurant is good for breakfast but otherwise not worth the time or money
