We loved this hotel! The design is really beautiful, but unlike some other hotels with contemporary design, this one manages to be warm and inviting too. The room was very comfortable with great features like a dvd player and docking station for ipod; a small fitness center, while very simple, met my needs; and the staff was friendly and courteous. Location is wonderful with the metro very close by and lots of good eating options in the area. We also recommend the Urbana restaurant - a gorgeous environment and great food too (we really enjoyed the pizza!).

This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at in DC. The room was beautiful and large, the staff was extremely friendly, polite, and thoughtful, and the whole experience was terrific. The rate was very modest - much less than for comparable hotels - but I may have been lucky to get this rate. Anyway, anything under $225 is well worth it.

Excellent hotel at the Dupont Circle neighborhhood. Many excellent restaurants nearby. Staff very helpful. Large, clean, attractive room with very comfortable bed. Nice fitness room. No complaints at all. Excellent city to visit with infinite range of activity and sightseeing choices. Look forward to going back. Might try flying into Reagan national instead of Dulles which is quite a ride from the city.

Just off Dupont Circle within walking distance of major tourist spots...or close to Metro for bad weather and everything else. Restaurants galore...if you don't like one just keep walking until you find something you like! Friendly and responsive staff catered to any request quickly, efficiently, and eagerly! Rooms are large and comfortable. Only downside was noisy neighbors a couple nights. Room service was fast and food excellent. Urbana restaurant was fun and had superb food and service! Wine tastings in the evenings were great for unwinding to a gentle buzz. We always enjoy Kimpton hotels and this was no exception. Friendly for pets and well behaved children.

The staff at this hotel were friendly and extremely helpful. Check in was effortless and they were quick to help with dinner reservations, directions and sight-seeing tips.
