My family stayed here for a week. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel and room were clean. The pool was nice. The location is perfect. I would recommend The Quality Inn to anyone traveling to Vancouver.

Front desk clerks were very friendly and helpful. Rooms are comfortable and quiet. Location is great - a few minutes steps to the bus stops.

Quality Hotel Downtown

The Quality Hotel Downtown was a great place to stay. It was the last place that I stayed on my three-week tour of Canada and one of the best. The service was prompt and efficient, and the hotel's restaurant has great food, especially the breakfasts.

If your room is not ready when you arrive, you can have a free drink/snack at the bar. In most of the rooms, there is an inside "balcony" with sliding glass doors onto the main room. In the summer months, this balcony can get very hot, so it is best to have the windows on the balcony open, but the door from the room to the balcony shut.

The parking is a bit awkward; you have to get a special key to get in to the underground parking, but there is a spacious forecourt, so you can leave your car in the forecourt whilst you load/unload the car with your luggage, instead of fiddling about with the locks with your hands full of suitcases.

There are great views of Granville Island and the rest of downtown Vancouver from the rooms, but be careful if you take pictures from an open window on the upper floors, as there is nothing to stop the window opening completely, so your camera (or children!) may fall out of the window if you are not careful.
