We were pleasantly surprised at the value of this hotel. Located close to everything, 2 restaurants are attached to the hotel and the staff are lovely and helpful. The pool is great, very large and has a spa attached. We would definitely stay here again. Our only complaint was the noise made by our neighbor and their children - but thats hardly the fault of the hotel! I would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling on a budget - great value.

The room was very small and very old, with peeling paint and 80's colors as was the lobby. The airconditioning was very old and very slow in cooling off the room - we actually called in maintenance (who were extremely slow in coming) to check on the air because it didn't seem to be working. It took several hours to cool down the room even after he pronounced it "working". If you want a refridgerator in your room, it will cost you extra, but they are available. The room did not fit a family of 4 very well. All that being said, for our three day trip, the room was adequate, the pool was very nice and pretty, the location was close to our destinations and to old town. The front desk was very helpful in giving us directions to Sea World, etc. - they already had them printed out and everything. I think I might stay somewhere else next time, but we were traveling on a budget and this seemed the best choice.

Great value, location and staff. I had a poolside room that was not very large, but clean and comfortable. An in room refrigerator would have been nice. The restaurants are not fancy, but the food is good and reasonably priced. The hotel circle area is conviently located near several freeways and close to anything you may want or need. I will absoloutely stay here again next time I visit San Diego.

We had a very nice stay at the Kings Inn. The staff was very attentive and did a great job with our special stay, as it was our anniversary. Grounds and pool very clean. Will stay again. Thank you.

Stayed 5 days at Kings Inn and it was very nice! The room while small, was comfortable. The pool was always busy. The Hotel Staff were always great, no matter what time of day. Lots of people staying there while I was there so I felt very safe since I was traveling alone. And a laundry facility on site was top notch. The hotel is centrally located to 2 shopping malls, Sea World, the zoo and the airport...very handy with the cost of gas!
