Pleasantly Surprised

I had a bad experience at a Super 8 on my way to Waco, but was pleasantly surprised when I reached the hotel in Waco. The room was very clean, smelled good, the mattress was very comfortable, located directly off the interstate but very safe. The hotel offers a complimentary breakfast which was excellent, but they also had fresh cakes and snacks available throughout the day. A local newspaper was delivered to our door each day. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this location for an excellent price and an excellent room.

A big fat "OK"

It was clean, security was OK, Bed was fine, Sheets were clean(no bed bugs), Bathroom clean and roomy, Breakfast was on time and had a good selection, Parking lot well lighted, and Staff on a scale of 1 to 10 is a 7.5-8.8. Bring your own Iron and Board because when I needed one all were checked out and I had to make a trip to walmart. Location is good for food places, sit down places to fast food. The Iron Board thing really made me mad but to be honest it is not a bad place, Not a 5 star but not 2 star just something in the middle.

Disappointed

Looks much better in pictures, Bathroom had mold behind toilet on wall, breakfast was ok. Traffic noise was extremely loud, we were placed in a room about 40 yards from interstate room 100, the hotel was not full, I think they should save this room as a last resort for guests. Glad we only had to stay 1 night.

Airport Shuttle

I read all the reviews before booking my room but I figured I was only staying one night and I only chose this hotel because I saw they offered a free airport shuttle. When I checked in the front desk told me about the free breakfast at 6am, I told her I would need the airport shuttle at 5am. She said "Im not sure if the shuttle is running." I stated I only choose this hotel because they advertised a free shuttle. She assured me there would be someone to drive me to the airport. When the maintaince man brought a crib to my room he had a sticky note with the number of a local cab company. I explained to him the reason for staying at the hotel was only for the shuttle and he told me he would call the hotel manager. He called my room and told me he had left a message for the manager and that the manager would be in around 11pm. At 11pm the maintance man called my room and told me the manager was in and he had explained the situation to him. The manager had no plans to contact my room. I called the front desk and ask to speak to the manager. I told him I only booked this hotel for the free shuttle that was advertised on the travel website. He said there was no one who would be in the hotel at that time to drive me to the airport and he "definatly was not going to come in at that time of morning just to drive me to the airport." I asked for some sort of refund and was told I did not pay them I paid travelocity sothat was not possible. (Cab fair was $23.00)
