would never stay again--BEWARE

I have always stayed at Sleep Inns and other hotels in this chain (Choice Hotels) including this one but will no longer do so. We booked online but never received a confirmation from the hotel so we assumed there was no reservation. We didn't try to rebook because we realized we could not make the trip. I don't know what made me call just to make sure there was no reservation, but I did. When I called the Choice Hotel line, they said they had no reservation. I also called the hotel to make sure as well and they said they did have a reservation for us. I explained the situation to the manager but he refused to cancel the reservation and said we would be responsible for the first night. I tried to reason with him but he would not budge. I was upset because we had stayed here for several years in a row and have always been loyal to this hotel chain. Choice Hotels main customer service was no help whatsoever. They took the complaint and said they would investigate but never did. I will never stay with this hotel or this chain again!! Bad business!!

I stayed one night in this hotel with swome friends. One night was too long. The pool was EXTREMELY small,hallways felt as though they were not air conditioned, the airconditioner in the room did nothing but blow the curtains around. The continental breakfast was VERY limited. We had to ask for a cloth to wash off our own table. The juice was watered down(from where I come from,cranberry juice is NOT pink). The smell of the cow farm behind the hotel was disgusting.

TV & phone didn't work ... at check-in they offered a discount when we talk to the manager in the morning... the mgr offered us NOTHING ... not even a dollar. With the paper thin walls and no TV to drown out the neighbors I certainly would not recommend this hotel. Maybe if you had no problems, but if you expect the room to be fully functional and/or be compensated go elsewhere!!!
