Our room was a one-bedroom efficiency unit, meaning it wasn't super spacious, but there was plenty of room to accommodate me and my husband. There was a king-size bed and a sleeper sofa. There was a kitchenette complete with mini-fridge, microwave, and coffeemaker. In the kitchenette area, there is a small table and chair set.
As previously mentioned, convenience is key for the Marriott Mountainside. The Payday ski lift is right by the outdoor pool and hot tub area. It is so convenient to ski down the mountain, pop off your skis, walk into the property, and store your skis at the free on-site ski storage. There is a nice heated pool and hot tub area, which was a popular activity on most days. Service was very good. There was a friendly front desk staff. There was also a friendly gentleman at the concierge desk in the lobby that provided area information and restaurant suggestions.
There is a nice modern workout room adjacent to the ski storage area. The cozy and roomy owner’s lounge is a good place to hang out and play pool, etc. Parking is inside a parking garage underneath the property, which means no scraping off ice or snow when ready to take a drive.

Summitwatch has big one and two-bedroom apartments. They are clean and well maintained with laundry facilities in the units. We loved being on Main Street. My wife does not ski anymore because of a torn ACL, so she shops!
